Hogwarts school bully Vincent Crabbe going to prison.

He got off lucky because they dropped the charge of carrying a Molotov cocktail during last summers London riots.

I would have thought his Harry Potter earnings would keep him out of trouble for awhile. What was he doing out in the London riots?

He got 2 years in jail.

Guess the sorting hat was right.

Ha!

Would he have behaved like this if he’d have been put in Gryffindor?

Aren’t people who play minor characters paid significantly less than the stars.

I doubt the film made him rich, but it certainly might have typecast him and made him a target for bullies.

Wouldn’t be a problem if he had paid closer attention in Charms class.

He’s already had a conviction for growing cannabis- note he wasn’t in the final film, due to the conviction, and the resulting community service. There’s another random Malfoy back-up in that one instead.

Crabbe actually became an interesting minor character by the final Potter book. The changing dynamic of his friendship with Malfoy was the key to what happened in the Room of Requirement… …which resulted in Crabbe’s death.I mention this because his abscence from the final film due to his legal troubles is all the more conspicuous. His character was replaced by some random Slytheryn dude, and the scene ultimately lost much of the impact it might have had.

Of course his current situation must be difficult for him and his family, and I hope the young man finds his way.
