Edmonton Sun story - pretty much just like the title says. The kicker for me - my mom was on the Greyhound yesterday! This is very, very weird and horrible.
 inches whole province slo-o-o-o-owly away from Manitoba
I’m glad they caught him–what a walking definition of a psychopath. Is your mum okay?
Well, obviously this has been on the news here too.
Your mom was on that bus, Lou?
Not on that bus - just on a Greyhound bus, coming from Saskatoon to Calgary yesterday. She’s a little freaked (she often buses between Alberta and Saskatchewan).

[sub]I’ll never be able to fall asleep on a Greyhound again…[/sub]
Dude, that is fucked up right there.
Holy shit. That there is some world class psychosis. I have to wonder if the killer had a history of psychiatric issues or something, 'cos there can’t possibly be a lick of sanity in such a brutal and senseless act.
Suddenly I feel I should take my wife’s snoring complaints more seriously.
Having been a frequent Greyhound rider in the past, I have to say that this does not surprise me.
Like I said to my mom when she said she was worried about taking the Greyhound again, what are the odds of that happening again? (I don’t know what they are - they have to be small, right?)
It paints the very clear picture that this guy doesn’t take shit from anybody!
What a disturbing story. Sounds like the killer was probably in the midst of a psychotic episode and that poor young man was in the wrong place at the wrong time. How sad.
Yeah, but the good news is that , for this brief, shining moment, we U.S. Americans look just a little less bloodthirsty. Oops, moment’s over!
There can be only one!
In all fairness, there have been plenty of times I’ve wanted to lop off the head of one of my annoying fellow passengers.
But most of the time I don’t.
Wow. That sucks.
I swear to god, if anyone gets peanut butter in the jelly jar again, heads are gonna roll.
Yeah - I saw that in the Calgary Sun today.
Good lord! The article mentioned that Greyhound was going to get crisis services arranged for any passengers needing it…how could you not need it after that?
[Master Shake]And then you’ll be immortal! Won’t *that *suck, little man![/MS]
Loved this quote:
“Portage RCMP Const. Dave Higgs, who was on the scene, reported “there was a major incident on the bus,” and did not provide any other details.”
Thanks Dudley. Can we talk to your horse, too, since he’d be just as overflowing a font of information as you?
