11 seconds left, IU goes up 4. Duke pushes the ball down court, misses a 3, kicks it out to Jasom Williams who drains the 3 with 4 seconds left AND IS FOULED!!! Indiana gives Duke the opportunity to tie the game…I thought Indiana’s coach was gonna commit seppiku right on the sidelines, you just DON’T give Duke that kind of opportunity and survive, but Williams, a career 67% shooter from the charity stripe, misses and Boozer gets the rebound and misses the layup to win the game!!!

Man! What a finish!

I’m glad to see Duke lose, because I’m tired of them winning all damn time (especially while MY team - Louisville Cardinals - was losing). although I completely understand the emotions all Duke fans are experiencing after Louisville’s infuriating loss Tuesday.

But I’ve always been a IU fan! :smiley:

Duke lost that game during the entire second half, and Indiana won it during that same 20 minutes. Rarely have I ever seen two completely opposite halves of a game. Yep, Duke sure has a media bias, and at times a ref bias (a Duke-positive bias). And yes, they have beaten a hell of a lot of teams in the last 24 years or so (even before Coach K). Many folks hate them like many folks hate the Yankees. They get tired of Duke winning and getting the spotlight, right DX2? No scandals to speak of, no point shaving or athletes on a payroll from boosters, no NCAA sanctions, a nation-leading athletic graduation percentage, the can for the most part read and write well… hell, if I weren’t a fan I’d hate 'em, too.

Congrats to Indiana on a great second half, and for taking that game away from Duke. I am now rooting for Maryland. The team, not the fans.

As a UVA student, I think I’m required to be against Duke. As a Northern Virginia resident, I’m just waiting for Maryland to lose. Go whoever can beat Maryland!!!

I turned off the TV before the game was over because I was going out and figured Duke was going to win anyways. Imagine my surprise when I get to the bar and see the final score. I am as happy as a pig in shit.

And did you see the other upsets? Kent State beat Pittsburgh and Missouri beat UCLA. Unbelievable.

I can’t even begin to express the sheer joy and ecstacy I felt when Duke lost! They are an excellent basketball team but when all you hear about is Duke for the entire season, it gets to be a bit much. I’m a happy man!!! And by the way…GO KENT STATE! (I’m originally from Ohio)

I love IU! I run up an down the dorm going nuts when they won. I go to Miami of Ohio so it is good to see a MAC team like Kent State in there, but I’m hoping IU will pull it all the way! Whoooo!

As a lifelong fan and alumnus of Indiana University, I am delirious with joy this fine morning. And this is nothing compared with last night when I was pounding the woodwork of my house at the end of the game.

It did my heart tremendous good to see Duke not only lose, but lose right here in Lexington, KY. Just wish I could have been there. Instead, I was in a bar somewhere on my post-Match Day crawl, teeming with Kentucky fans incongruously rooting for Indiana.

Now if only Kentucky can bring their “A” game tonight and knock off Maryland, life will be good.
