Back to entering statistics. Mildly freaked out about my online TESOL class. Have to do some damage control tonight.
Good news: saw the first ultrasounds of Baby No Name yesterday. It’s at the “yeah I’m recognizably human, so?” stage of development. I made a joke about the baby resting up now so it’ll stay up all night for the next two years and my sister got mad. Little sister’s revenge, that is.

Howdy Y’all! Home for my mid-afternoon break. It’s cool, damp and rainy here today. So, I’m sippin’ iced tea naturally.
I’m such a good person, I helped some of those folks I went QA on yesterday with fixin’ stuff this morning. This evening I have two phone appointments about inshurnce. We shall see if they truly are there when I call. They best be. After all they asked for the appointments.
Ok, off to check out some other stuff then back to the inshurnce bidness.

Libby Kitty is proper poorly. She had X-Rays and blood taken and an antibiotic shot and I have 2 weeks worth of drops to give her. She was a little dehydrated so she had some fluids I had to take a poo sample back to them.
Poor baby
She did get fiesty when they were trying to take some blood so I am hoping it is not serious.
$425.60 - yup I am not going to the doctors this month I just hope she feels better. I am so attached to the little booger now I can’t bare the thought of anything happening to her.
I promised her I would take off work at the regular time and bring my computer home to work and keep an eye on her

I am back from day one of PALS. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I do wish I had had an effective teacher. She spent much of her time gossiping with her co-workers. :rolleyes: Luckily, dying hearts are much the same, no matter the age.
It’s frigging cold outside. No one prepared me for this. I’d like to speak to the manager.

Thanks Sean for reminding me of that. The first 6 were decided way above me and I felt really bad about doing. This time it is a discipline thing due to head in ass and refusing to work. These 3 idiots deserve it…They think they run this place they are wrong. I do. And as I am sure I have mentioned before…

The won’t let me get it engraved onto a plaque for my office
Hi, everybody. This is the first time all week I’ve been upright and at my computer for long enough to actually post; I may never end up reading to catch up. I have had the nastiest case of Teh Sick I have had for a long time – we’re talking three days flat in bed, followed by two days laid out on the couch because I had to be available to let the Idiots in/out while Papa Tigs was at work. Thank heaven tomorrow is his first regular Firday RDO, so he’ll be available to take care of them again. I don’t know if snowbunny mentioned I’ve been sick, but I did ask her to; I haven’t read all six pages (!!) to find out.
I’m still only feeling about 25%, but at least I’m not nauseous any more. I spent four days hovering on the edge of barfing, but since I (literally) have an amazing inability to barf – we’re talking I can count on one hand how many times I’ve tossed my cookies in all 54 years I’ve been gracing the earth with my presence – all I was was nauseous. And feverish, and aching, and just miserable. At least today I’m no longer nauseous, just dizzy every time I move my head too fast. Whatever this version of Teh Sick is, it definitely whacked out my inner ears. Even if it didn’t give me any congestion, for no known reason.
Hugs/boos/yays etc. to everybody. The only news I have is that yesterday, when I propped myself upright for 15 minutes and checked my email just to make sure I didn’t have any work emails moldering in my inbox, I learned that on Monday, a close friend in New Orleans, returning home from taking one of her dogs to the vet, found her husband dead on the floor. He was 63. We still don’t know what it was except 100% shocking and unexpected, but it’s obviously an Awful Thing.
I’m rejoining the living, though, bit by bit. So y’all behave, and I’ll be back up and running in a couple more days, I sincerely hope!!
So this ‘personnel’ situation I have is going all the way up to the personnel director for North America, the president of my bit of the company for North America and the world wide personnel manager for my bit of the company. The POMBOTCFNM wants to fire the entire group for having their heads in their asses whereas myself, my boss and the personnel manager for my region (holy shit the organisation is screwed up) have come to another agreement - fire the ringleaders, one guy week off without pay and the rest warnings. So we shall see
