Oh man, there is nothing worse than someone unfamiliar with hip-hop lingo trying to use it. It always ends up so unbelievably cheesy. But hey, maybe that’ll work to your advantage.
When I use hip hop lingo, I always make sure to enunciate it clearly it in my western Canadian accent. That makes it even more authentic.
Whenever I hear someone using hip-hop lingo, I try to get a goodly amount of distance between us, to the point where I don’t hear their voice any more. That action seems indicated here.
