I have one last question that I would like Orion to address, please: If homosexuality should be made illegal because of the spread of AIDS in the United States, please explain to me why Germans shouldn’t be jailed because they started the Holocaust and World War I and II; heterosexuals shouldn’t be imprisoned for continuing the spread of AIDS in Africa and the United States (and worldwide, to boot); and Christianity shouldn’t be outlawed for starting the Inquisition and various and asundry other historical atrocities (for which the Vatican is apologizing this week).

It’s clear for all to see…translation “it is not only unclear, but also unjustifiable.” If it was clear then you could somehow prove/provide real examples of the damage, etc etc. You haven’t yet, so I’m assuming you can’t.

Oh my oh my, you’re going to get blasted for that one. What makes you think we’re all from the US? I can think of several posters from the UK quite easily. In any case, I grew up with the european spellings and no mistakes that you’ve made can be attributed to that, for one the grammar is pretty much the same. On the other hand they can all be attributed to the fact that you have no clear command of english. Have you considered using a spell checker? Or a dictionary? Or, dare I say it, a brain?

Ignorance and uninhibited sexual intercourse are the chief spreaders of the virus. Africa has both in a big way. Many cultures believe in having the uncles of young girls ‘initiate’ them into womanhood; the sharing of wives is often culturally acceptable; schooling is utterly primitive in rural areas; and contraception is not understood or utilized properly.
Africa is an AIDS disaster. Some countries have 25% of their population infected. I’ve heard estimates that by the year 2020 there will have been more lives lost in Africa to AIDS than lives lost in Europe to the Bubonic Plague during the middle ages.
It is not being spread primarily by homosexuals. Uneducated, sexually uninhibited heterosexuals are spreading this scourge like wildfire. Many African nations had high hopes of industrializing and moving into the 21st century, but millions of their citizens are dying every year and still they refuse to acknowledge the epidemic in their land. Most Africans don’t ever dare speak the name of the disease, let alone discuss it and what can be done.
Orion*** and any others who blame the spread of AIDS on homosexuals are helping to increase the vast ignorance surrounding AIDS and in doing so, are a much larger threat to humanity than all the gays in the world.

Many countries have gone to war, and many of them just to take land and destroy those they didn’t like. Just take US as an excample in the Vietnam war. In one occasion I believe they destroyed a whole willage and killed and raped most of the sivilians.
And the comparance with Germans is really stupid. This is something that the Germans did in the past.
Gay people don’t just had a sexual act with an another man, but they are doing this right now and probable tomorrow. They don’t see it as wrong. The Germans see that they’re wars was wrong and have payed the price, which was righteous.

About christianity.
I think that you should think about the fact that christianity is a something which the whole West if founded on. I could understand in a way that you don’t like it because you are gay. Inquisiton startet orginally as a hunt for a pegan group that sacrefied children in they’re rituals. But of course, we know the rest. Many innocent people was killed and tortured. But this again was something that happend in the past. This isn’t happening today, is it ?

There is no place called “West Europe.” There is, however, an area known as western Europe.
If you live anywhere other than your place of origin, you came from there; if you are perhaps visiting and planning to return to your homeland, you could conceivably say you come from there, but it is awkward (you might also just say, “I am from western Europe”). Either way you slice it, we still speak English better than you do.
