Honk if you LIKE Daylight Saving Time and don't consider the system "broken."

The system is perfect the way it is. Nothing needs to be fixed.

Post if you agree.

Hink?

That’s the horn sound of a Cooper Mini.

It’s also been reported. I hate making typos in thread titles.

Ahhhh. I ran “Hink” through urban dictionary, assuming it was something I’d missed.

As for DST, I just do not care for switching clocks around.

I have no problem with Daylight Savings Time–I enjoy the extra daylight after work in the “summer”…

If I had a collection of cuckoo clocks, I’d worry about resetting them. Most of my clocks reset themselves nowadays.

I have to reset three clocks. In the spring I don’t mind at all. In the fall it’s a bit more of a pain, but I have an extra hour to do it.

Honk

Sunrise and sunset times in Ottawa with DST.

I really can’t imagine the sky starting to brighten at 4:00 A.M. I’d poison the MF crows and blue jays.

I like Daylight Saving Time but I don’t like Standard Time. I wish we were on DST all year long so we can have at least some light at the end of the day. Do I still get to honk?

I don’t “like” DST, but I can’t think of a better way to shuffle the daylight around. Changing your sleep is a PITA, but without it we’d either have sunrise at 4:30 in the summer or at 8:30 in the winter, neither of which is good.

Meep meep.

I wake up most easily shortly after sunrise. DST helps me stay synchronized to Normal Human Working Hours. I suppose I could get used to waking up hours before work in the summer, but then I’d have a ridiculously early bedtime.

HONK!! Most people who don’t like it are either selfish or don’t understand it’s impacts.

Beeeeeep!

It doesn’t bother me at all and I kind of like the quirkiness of it all. So, cool.

Yup, I like it as well. I’m one of about three people in Indiana who does.

You get to hink.

I’d also prefer year-long DST. I don’t have a problem with kids going to school in the dark because I had to go to school in the dark as a kid and it didn’t hurt me none.

AwoooOOoooga!

BOOOOOOOOOOO!

What’s the point of posting a thread in IMHO if some opinions aren’t going to be listened to? To say that DST makes sense and the Social Security Trust Fund doesn’t? BAH!

Honk!

Though, I do find the Anti-DST arguments sort of tiresome, and they wouldn’t exist if we didn’t have DST.

HONK!! HONK!! HONK!! HONNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!! …Flips the bird at the people that bitch about DST.

It is one of the best things ever invented.

HINK! I, too, live in Indiana where we didn’t have DST for 20 years without issue. Changing my old-fashioned clocks 2x a year is a royal PITA but I like the extended daylight hours. So its a “hink” for me.
