Upside of new job- being paid to go to a gig I would have cheerfully bought a ticket for. Downside of job, finishing work at 2am, then having to be up in the morning for the next shift. Blurfyblurf.
Also not a good start to the morning, discovering someone put my leftovers (which was gonna be the basis of tonight’s dinner) out on the side, rather than in the fridge, and the cat et em. Dammit. Oh well.

Nuts that sucks. On the upside, I’m sure that was one happy kitty. 
No big plans for the day. I suppose I should do some ironin’ bein’ as there are a dozen or so shirts hangin’ in the laundry room that need to be ironed. Oh well. The joys of a hunnert percent cotton shirts which I do lurve.
Time to seek out more caffiene and sustenance for rumbly tummy. Should I be mean and cook bacon which will cause he who still sleeps to stir?

Miracle of miracles - Higgs didn’t start whining till 6:15 this morning! YAY!! I needed the sleep.
FCD will be part of a bike ride/funeral this morning. They’ll be escorting the ashes of one of the chapter members who was killed a couple of weeks ago. He’ll be getting up soon. Higgs thinks he should be up NOW so I get to herd her away from the bedroom door periodically.
I hope to get a lot done in the yard. Gonna wait for it to warm up a bit, tho - temps are in the upper 40s right now - not ideal for playing in dirt and water. Just heard a gunshot (I think) - it’s hunting season (I think) - on the road it’s certainly deer season. Makes me nervous when I drive, plus there are the carcasses on the side of the road or smeared in the driving lanes. ick.
At least I don’t have to meet up with Missy Prissy today, so yay for that!

Not sure- he doesn’t normally like cauliflower cheese, it might just have been vengeance for me taking him to the v.e.t for vaccinations on thursday. He’s still sulking at me and his main servant.

My sweetie just left. It’s overcast and still quite chilly. Today my end up being a weeding day rather than a planting day. Oh well - it’s got to be done…
I didn’t cook bacon. I did, however, make homemade bizkits, sausage gravy and scrambled aigs which is almost as evil. Sausage gravy is a good thing even if it does look like the dawg threw up on a bizkit.
Nuts maybe kitty did this just so he can hornk you up a present later today.
All cloudy like outside. The weather PTB say only a thirty percent chance of rain but it sure looks dreary out.

Irish Storyteller has a tale about an English bulldog he once lived with that ate an entire cheesecake. All they had to do to get the dog to look guilty after that is ask him, “What about the cheesecake?”
It’s been a busy day over here - up early and out of the house by 9am, did all my errands in town (bank, butcher, market, couple of other stores) then a haircut at 10am. Went home afterwards to drop stuff off, came back into town to meet a friend for lunch and cocktails, then went shopping with her for holiday shoes.
I’m home again now, she’s off dog-walking with her neighbour and I am about to do day 3 of the exercise plan, this time with proper hand-held weights courtesy of this morning’s errands. I already hurt from the first two days of exercise workouts, I am sure by tomorrow I will be permanently damaged.
However, I am slightly fortified by the cocktails, two of which were very nice and one of which was incredibly bitter. I would, of course, do them all again…in the interests of science!
I have a sinus headache that can be measured on the Richter Scale, and nothing in the medicine cabinet has helped so far. : owie : + :mad: with a big side of

I went to bed at about 11 last night and woke up at about 9 today. I needed that, after having been sleep-deprived for the past few days. Darned live radio shows. Why do they have to be so much fun? 
Back to working on stuff soon.
Last night was a good time. We ate a ton of Sushi, saw a good movie and had a few drinks at Ye Olde Watering Hole.
