God DAMN diabetes.
Shit.
God DAMN diabetes.
Shit.
The sugar I get, but how did they squeeze more fat in there than a Quarter Pounder? I mean, damn.
I was delighted recently to find that the 7-Eleven at my bus stop sells Dolly Madison Zingers. I used to eat those for my snack in Kindergarten all the time. Oh, do I love thee, oh holy Zingers.
Sometimes, they even have them in the vending machine at work. Gah, wallet shrinks and waistline grows. Dammit.
There was a little hot dog place downtown that had the best Philly Cheesesteaks (very, very greasy). But they also served fried Twinkies for a buck. I’d never had one before. It was good. I probably put on 10 lbs. in my 1hr lunchtime whenever I went there (which was not often, because I don’t want to be 400 lbs.).
Fried Twinkies are yummy! But who thought of that?
What about deep fried Mars Bars? I had one of these while on vacation in Scotland. It was damn good, and it’s probably a good thing I don’t live in Scotland, I’m fat enough as it is.
FYI, Dolly Madison products are now produced by both Dolly Madison and Hostess. I was surprised to see “Hostess Zingers” in the convenience store recently.
Nobody has mentioned my favorite yet. Hostess Apple Pies are good, Ding Dongs are good. My favorite is Suzie Q’s! Two succulent chocolate cake layers with a layer of whipped creamy filling goodness in between.
Two pieces of pure heaven!
Holy shit! What next? McDonald’s Whoppers?
Even worse, you could make your own.
::drool::
They were Drake’s Yodels when I was a kid. Wrapped in tinfoil, a bit of which would always be left behind in the mad haste to unwrap, lurking, lurking to embed itself in an unsuspecting molar - ARRGHHHH!!!
I want a Jelly Roll.
I want a home-made fried pie.
I want a butter roll. (left over pie crust slathered w/butter, cinnamon, lots of sugar and baked like a pie)
I have totally been craving Sno Balls. Oddly enough the Hostess site doesn’t have a picture of them.
I want an oatmeal cream pie. No, that is not true…I want an entire box of oatmeal cream pies.
Jeez, soon we’ll be breaking out the Moon Pies and RC Cola.
Moon pies are fantastically yummy. Marshmallow anything is goooooooooood.
Oatmeal cream pies…very yummy.
Is it lunch time yet?
Because of this post, I had to go to the vending machine and get a double-decker oatmeal cream pie.
Nom nom nom.
I can’t remember the last time I had any o one time.f the things mentioned in tthis thread, but I do remember loving all them. Now I’m going to have to force myself even harder to avoid the snack section when I go shopping.
Go have an oatmeal cream pie. You can convince yourself that it’s healthy because of the word “oatmeal”.
Well, of course it is, silly! I wouldn’t know anything about any fat or sugar because my fingers are stuck in my ears lalalalalalalalala I can’t hear you!
As long as we’re mentioning sweet sugar-laden sinfulness, anybody else like Nut Goodies?
I think I remember Nut Goodies…something like a Payday, but with maple?
I was buying shoes the other day and they had candy for sale at the register…I almost bought some Goo Goo Clusters, which I used to buy at the dollar store in packs of four.
Right. Made by the Pearson Candy Co. of Minneapolis. Very yummy, the perfect mix of salty peanuts and maple sugar.
Heretic! Smother the Heretic in Hostess Apple Fruit Pies!
