Hi. I’m new here but I guess I’ll tell you who I am because it might help my problem. I am almost 29, in only 5 days. Anyway everytime I go to sleep I wake up in the middle of the night with very hot feet, they are also dry. I haven’t bought lotion yet, but I try to put them in water and it kind of works but when I put water on the my quickly absorb the water. Putting in on could stuff helps a Llittle but not really. They are getting to the point where I have to wake up over and over.
What could cause it? And how do I fix it
Water is not helping, it’s just washing all of the natural oils off your feet. If you really want to fix this it’s long term. I had the same problem.
First of all get a Pedegg and scrape off all that extra stuff on your feet. Then get O’keefes foot lotion, it’s the best stuff ever. Non greasy. Put it on your feet and put some socks on and leave your feet alone. Before bedtime, discard the socks. In just a day or two your feet will be so much smoother and they basically need to be retrained to retain their own oils.
Eat well, take your vitamins, make sure you have plenty of vitamins.
Don’t keep your sheets tucked in at the bottom. Make sure you have room to stick your feet out.
Cut the blankets down if you can’t stop being hot. Turn the heat down at night. Your heat should ideally be in the sixties. Mine goes down to sixty at night. If I am cold I put on blankets.
I constantly have hot feet and I’m 37 now. I do whatever it takes. I can’t even sleep if they are too hot and dry, but water never helps, not long term anyway.
This happens to me, too. Don’t know what causes it. Get some Neutrogena Foot Cream. Good stuff. Don’t skimp and buy cheap lotion that has alcohol in it. It will dry your skin even more.
