The legal system has the power to forbid these sorts of relationships, so my initial answer is that none of them are ok, inasmuch as they’re legally forbidden with rational reason.

No. In some cases, a teenaged male getting together with a older female would be just fine. And in some cases, a teenaged female getting together with an older male would be just fine. And ditto TF -> OF and TM -> OM.
In many other cases, it would be wrong.
I would volunteer to pass judgment on each individual case’s merits as they occur, but unfortunately I already have a full-time job and am unavailable.

I am so sick of people thinking boys who have been seduced by their female teachers as ‘lucky’, just because teenage boys are always horny. Girls are horny too, at that age, and just as likely to fixate on a male teacher, and we rightly realize that a man who takes advantage is TAKING ADVANTAGE. Gay boys are just as horny as their het counterparts, but if a male teacher takes advantage there, you can expect to see the hammer come down hard. I seem to remember a few of the victims of the priest sex abuse cases turned out to be gay men. You don’t think they ‘got lucky’, do you?
Guys, you need to stop looking at this through the grown-up filter of your memories of fantasies. An adult initiating an affair with a young teen is skanky enough, but we are talking about a teacher. An authority figure with enormous power over his or her students. He or she can make promises of good grades, or threats about failing or even about getting a student suspended or expelled if they don’t cooperate with the seduction.
I admit that it is possible that for a certain percentage, boys who have affairs with female teachers may grow up to remember it as a positive experience, but treating this situation like all of them ‘got lucky’ just makes it that much harder for those who feel used and abused to get help.

Actually, a few years ago, when we were in a community theatre production, I did think about asking her out. But then I found out she was seeing someone seriously, and any way, she was still out of my league.
I’m not looking through a grown-up filter. Stories like this were around when I was 17 (eight years ago) and I was jealous then.
I wouldn’t suggest that teachers having sex with students ought to go unpunished- they clearly should be fired- but I can’t help but think that sending them to jail for having sex with a guy who might have been three days from his 18th birthday is stupid.

Male sexuality and female sexuality are drastically different and that’s all there is to it. It’s bullshit that our society looks upon affairs between teenage boys (who are past puberty and have fully developed sexual drives) and hot, young teachers who are in their twenties as being equal to “sexual assault” or any other type of molestation or sexual offense. Absolute bullshit.

You’re mistaken. The assumption that it’s okay for a female teacher to have sex with her male students but it’s not okay for a male teacher to have sex with his female studients isn’t about the difference between male and female desire, it’s about the difference between male and female power.

There’s one teacher in here who was 25 and had sex with a student who was 18. The site says she could get 20 years. Some of these cases are more problematic than others, obviously, but I’m having a hard time seeing an 18 year old male as being a “victim” if he gets laid by a hot 25 year old.
