I understanding wanting to survive, but in many circumstances it is anti-town. In particular, vanilla townies should not place their own survival over the town’s desire to lynch them. Power roles can justify it, but Ore has not claimed anything. So that indicates to me that they are likely scum.
Here’s my late-Day assessment.
The case against ushimi was mostly based on his argument with special ed, and what did or did not happen after I subbed in for Ed. That’s not a good game reason to lynch him.
The case against Oredigger was entirely on page 11. It’s a bit stronger, but it’s also close to Dusk.

Damned right you’re going to catch heat. That is wrong, wrong, wrong.
If you are town and you have a chance to self preserve, the correct move is to take it unless you have reason a really good reason to believe that the other candidate is a town power role. If the other candidate is any random other player, you make the vote.
This is simple math. You are 100% chance to be town. Every single other player is less than 100% chance to be town. Therefore lynching them instead is pro-town.
And this is coming from someone whose philosophy for VT is to try to die well and will jump on undue self-preservation as a scum tell.

“Return to your rooms. The Day is over,” said the voice from the loudspeaker.
The heroes returned to their rooms, wondering who Oredigger is. Their TV’s(not HD or anything, just old-style TV’s) sprung on, showing the following video.
