Is Pants a zombie?
Cookies, why are you leaning SK? We haven’t actually had any unexplained deaths. The Night we had three kills, you admitted to one, and Red Skeezix admitted to the other. Then we just had two Nights in a row (due to Veronica Mars dying), with one kill in each. All told, every Night has had one unclaimed death, which is presumably the Scum’s kill. If we do have an SK and/or Vig, then we’d have to assume that they’ve either held their fire, or that every time they’ve killed, the Scum have happened to be blocked or protected against.
Speaking of the setup: We now have hard evidence that we had a pair of Masons, a Detective/Princess, a jack-of-all-trades, someone who can choose a side and who gets a bonus kill, and someone who can make a vote count double. All of this matches up with Harry Potter mafia, so I think we’re about as certain as anything ever is in this game that we’re just replaying that exact ruleset, just like Red thought.
Effectively, this means that we’re now in an open ruleset. But it’s been so long since we had one of those, that I’m not even sure what the correct strategy is now. Is it time for a mass-claim?

I’ll rephrase. Were I a town-aligned vig, I would have killed me over Story.
It’s a non-issue, since Story was (I’m 99% sure) killed by scum. Barring some oddity of Mahaloth’s rules, of course.

What do we make of Scuba Ben?
I did a look back at Pants’ posts in case he left any breadcrumbs for us, but came up empty. The only person still living that he expressed any suspicion of at all was Astral, but that was first in connection with **Astral **pointing out his post editing, and second when he voted for Astral, then quickly unvoted. I would think if he had a reason to suspect **Astral **he would have acted quite differently.
The only times he specifically expressed any trust in anyone were when he agreed with **Chronos **that **ushi **was suspicious very early on Day 2, and when he said “I am prepared to take **ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies **at face value for the moment” after she claimed to have chosen Town on Day 3. I don’t know if either of those were strong enough statements to count for anything.
