Any particular reason why?
Can anyone explain **story’s **double vote Yesterday? It wasn’t his power, so that means there is someone who has the ability to make a certain player’s vote count double? Chronos, you mention this role being in HP; how did it work then?

I read the statement that someone had more time than usual. Didn’t recall Ben said that.
Vote was entirely based on his prior statement that he wanted to be subbed out.
Since we are definitely in HP country, I know what to expect.
Just in case anyone forgot, the scum team for harry potter was:
- Godfather (meaningless since cop is dead)
- Roleblocker
- Detective
- Vanilla
That means at this point we are facing 3-4 scum depending on cookies alignment.
Out of 10 living that means we are quite possibly at a 6-4 lylo. I’m tempted to call for a mass claim, but that basically means that the scum roleblocker will block the doc, and kill indiscriminately toNight, probably the doc.
Right now my top choices for scum are:
Idle thoughts and Astral Rejection and Meeko. I’ll review and make my cases when I sober up.
Correction, We 9 alive so it’s either 5-4 or 6-3. Either way, it’s better for us, since odd numbers favor town.

I also know why story got two votes yesterday. It’s a town power. But when it comes time for a claim, we’ll see who has it.
I don’t think the power ever actually got used; the same player was the Doctor and the vote-charger, and had to choose which to use each cycle.
Cookies, do you have any reason for thinking that Pants and storyteller were not both Scum kills, as would be the simplest hypothesis? If one of them wasn’t, what happened to the Scum kill that Night?
No, hence my use of the word, ‘if’ in my original statement. I know that there are others who are assuming strict adherence to the Harry Potter game, which apparently had no serial killer or Vig aside from Snape. But my play and thoughts on the game are not being filtering it through the HP game. I’m still playing the game like it is closed.
They could both be scum kills.
It’s absurd to not assume that they were both Scum kills. I mean, what are the chances (even aside from the uncanny similarity to Harry Potter) that a Serial Killer would wait several Days before making their kill, and then just happen to kill on a Night that the Scum kill was stopped? There’s no reason to assume a SK at all until and unless we see a Night with an extra, un-accounted for, kill, which has not happened.
Okay? You’re quite sure both kills were scum kills. To me, that is one of a few different possibilities.
Vote Cookies since we have only her word that she chose Town side from her previous position (for one). For two, the person who told us about her role was Pleonast, who was scum, so who knows what liberties he took to possibly change the info he got. If she is a scumbuddy of his, he could have changed any part(s) of the PM he posted.
Which is it, Idle? Do you think I was already scum buddies with him when he made the reveal? Or do you think I chose to be scum the next Night?
I corroborated Peonast’s info and provided a good bit of my own that his results did not include So, technically, if we were both scum at the time that he shared his results we both could have changed parts of the reveal.
I have no idea, it could be either…it wouldn’t surprise me to learn you were just scum all long, though.
Do you have any other reasoning?

OOG: I’m back. I had a relapse for two weeks; I’m doing somewhat better now. I’ll do my best to stay involved in the game. And I’ll do my best to not be in further Mafia games for several months.

What attention? As far as I know, nobody had ever voted for me or even approached building a case against me. My WoWs were an attempt to find scum and critically look at several players.
I’ve only completed through page 5 so far (stupid day job, yadda yadda), plus skimming to see who Died and when. I’m astonished at Pants’s death costing us a Day, and once I get to Day 2 I’m going to pay close attention to Story’s messages for breadcrumbs.
I’m also split between relying on Idle’s opening VT claim and what happened in Sekham when I relied on Idle.
