I’d encourage you to do so, because as it stands right now, it’s Game Over.
One thing that has me very close to switching is the fact that Chronos has smudged me, repeatedly, every time he shows his program’s results, and has claimed that I’m most likely to be scum, and then never looked at me, ever. I don’t think, of the top of my head, he’s ever even approached building a case against me.
Well, at this point, it’s kind of hard to avoid smudging. There are three people left in the game whose alignment I don’t know, and two of them are Scum. So, yeah, I think you’re more likely than not to be Scum. But I think Suburban is even more likely, so that’s where my vote is for now.
I really did mean to take a closer look at you after the first time I posted my program, but I just never got the time. Maybe if I had, I would have found something to motivate a vote, or maybe I would have become more satisfied with you. I don’t know.
I know this won’t be as much fun, but I need to go to bed and won’t be awake until after Night falls. This will be my last post before then so whatever happens I want to make sure I get my opinion of the second scum out there. If I die toDay, then game over. If we do the right thing and lynch Suburban Plankton, I could still die during the Night.
Overall, I’ve thought Chronos has made a lot of good contributions and appeared Town and have had a hard time finding any dirt on him or Astral. However, his play has been suspicious to me yesterDay and toDay.
Yesterday, Chronos was waiting for the case on Idle Thoughts to build steam before waiting to vote. Chronos waited until after Astral wrote his WoW to commit his own vote. At that point Chronos would have the confidence that a townie Astral wouldn’t switch. Idle would win (or is it lose) on a tiebreaker and Astral could get heat because of the WoW. So Chronos came in with a weak vote about Idle being lazy compared to other games. That was his voting argument. I haven’t seen Idle in other games, so I can’t really make a comparison, but I thought Idle was being pretty active. His Cookies vote was not “safe” because several people had already argued she should be saved for last (including me). If anyone was playing safe, it was Chronos.
As for Today, he immediately (is 4 hours immediately?) piggy-backed on my vote for Suburban Plankton with no argument of his own except for his computer program. While I appreciate the vote, I interpret this as having two possible scummy motives. One, if it looks like he’s my buddy, then maybe we’re scum and Suburban Plankton goes free and then we lose. Two, if we do successfully lynch Suburban Plankton, then he can claim to be Town tomorrow and hopefully get a scum win.
I’m sure there’s a possible scum narrative for Astral, but I’m not seeing it. Or at least it’s not as apparent to me as Chronos is. By making the third vote for Suburban, Astral guarantees there won’t be any ties. I could be wrong, but my instincts are telling me Chronos is scum number 2.

I really, really hope I’m not making the wrong choice. I’ve been suspicious of Wolverine in the past, and I’m suspicious of you now, so I hesitate to do this, but Chronos is starting to make a lot more sense in my mind.
I want to hear from Cookies before making my final decision.

Astral, if I’m making more sense, why does that motivate unvoting the person I’m arguing for?
And this will probably be the last post I make toDay. The end of Day falls while I’ll be in lab, and I’ll probably be grading until then. So I really hope that Suburban is Scum, because I won’t be able to change my vote now.

Yes, two votes will not win against three votes. But the two votes on me will win against any two other votes. Which is why I said to **Astral **a couple posts ago that if he and I voted for you, we would still need one other player to join us.
When **you **and **Wolverine **voted for me, that guaranteed my lunch unless Astral, Cookies, and **I **are unanimous in our choice. Assuming of course that neither of you change your vote. And since you have now both said you will most likely not be back before the end of the Day, that’s where we sit.
With **Astral’s **last comment, it seems that things might be up to **Cookies **at this point, which seems somehow oddly fitting…
I’m about to go off into what is scheduled to be two hours of meetings, which will take me past Day end.
So it looks like unless **Cookies **comes in with a vote on **Chronos **or Wolverine, and **Astral **votes with her, and I change my vote if necessary to match them, and this all happens in the next 10 minutes, this game is probably over.

Cookies, if you come back soon enough, I’m positive you need to vote for Wolverine. Chronos and Wolverine voted early and together against SP. I think it’s obvious now that they’re working together. They haven’t made any other cases - they don’t need to. They only needed to convince one of us townies to join them.
So, hurry back and vote! I’d hate to lose this because you couldn’t make it back in time.

It is a gut check and I’ve been wrong so often with my earlier suspicions (Suburban would fall into that category) that I’m tempted to zig where I have zagged previously.
And I just get a vague feeling that Wolverine’s summary of the case against Idle just seemed off.
