I can receive emails and I do have access to the internet.
As far as where I am in Houston, I can’t tell you if I’m east or west. I’m off of Northwest Highway near the Hollister exit. There’s a really big Tinseltown movie theater right down the street. Does that help any?
It doesn’t matter to me where the gathering is held. As long as I can get a map on yahoo.com, I’ll be able to find the place.
Okay, since no one will bite the bullet and make any decisions, we missed Mr. Cynical.
So here goes: I propose Thursday, July 13, 6:00pm till whenever. It appears Chuy’s on Richmond is getting the attention, so we can give that a try. (Crossing fingers on food quality and service.)
I picked Thurs so I can be there, to give time for everyone to check in, and because I don’t have to work on Friday.

Subject to group revision, I propose the Richmond Arms (5920 Richmond Avenue, (713) 783-7722) for Saturday, July 30th, beginning 5:00 P.M. They have a patio that we might commandeer if it’s not too hot, and an A/C’d pub inside, with full kitchen.
I’m open to other suggestions, but, lacking any, this is the plan.

July 30 is a SUNDAY. July 29 is a Saturday. If y’all are planning on meeting Saturday, July 29th, count me in. My sister lives in Houston, and if I can bribe her to babysit my son for a few hours, I’m there. If not, maybe the little guy and I will appear for a little while.
