Foreman also has a brother, Marcus, who is incarcerated for drugs.
Thanks, Skald…the ol’ Wiki really does have all kinds of info :smack:
As said in last week’s thread, I’m a House newbie, trying to catch up, and hadn’t even realized that Wiki had such details on fictional characters (don’t watch much TV). Got a lot to wade through there, but, I really enjoy this show for it’s complexity, and love Hugh Laurie’s House brilliant bastard .
I couldn’t believe that I actually called what it was that the patient did that was so bad. I had just turned to the Other Half and said, “She killed her baby brother.” right before she blurted it out. I’m still not even sure why I thought that, but for someone that tries never to figure stuff out in advance so I won’t be ho-hum with a conclusion, I was shocked, SHOCKED I tell you.
Anyway, my general thoughts on this episode were; 1.) I’m always impressed with the level of acting by the guests (all the kids in this one, especially the teenaged girl, were phenomenal), 2.) I loved how Wilson handled House’s hang-ups with Cuddy, 3.) I’d like them to show more of Kuttner and Taub so their characters could devolop more and, 4.) both Cameron and Chase are more fun (and therefore interesting) now.
But no matter what, I no longer like the direction 13 has taken. She was find when the ducklings were auditioning, but sucks miserable eggs as a permanent fixture.
Well, deliberately killing it would be worse than accidentally killing it, I think. Wouldn’t older-brother-kid – telling the sick bro happy stories while slowly, deliberately, and maliciously poisoning him – be a worse person than a babysitter who makes a single mistake? Once the parents are apprised of all the facts, I’m sure they’ll agree with me.
Anyone else think that 13 telling going to a rapist’s house and telling said rapist where to find his MIA daughter was a criminal and stupid act? Lucky for her she turned out to be wrong.
I miss Evil Nurse Brenda. This anonymous Asian nurse isn’t aggressive enough. Brenda would let House have it.
And of course, next week features Thirteen prominently again. (disgust)
I liked what Wilson was doing in this episode. Didn’t put up with House’s nonsense, didn’t try to inject himself into the situation. Maybe Wilson is going to turn into an adult.
This. I found it annoying when Wilson was playing yenta last week. They could have accomplished much of the same thing by having Cuddy coming to him for advice, without creating the impression that Wilson was either desperately addicted to drama or desperately wanting to do House himself, and thus projecting.
Unfortunately, in my view, 13 is becoming to House what Jack Bauer’s daughter was to 24 – an excuse to fast-forward through any scene she’s in. Next week may be painful.
