What I gleaned from the promo is that a six-year-old girl has one of those disorders that causes the person to age much faster than is normal. She’s also supposed to be hiding something. The way they edited it, she says “I…want…”
They had a brief fun fling, but she ended it very abruptly last week. I guess it’s better than leading him on, but he was left cold by the way she broke it off and walked away. This, of course, will lead to much tension in tonight’s ep.
Also, I think I had something wrong about this ep; the girl has a problem which is normally seen only in those much older, but she’s not one of those kids who looks 80 yrs. old.
I really enjoyed this episode. It felt like a real return to form. The last one wasn’t bad, but I’m glad this one was more of a traditional episode. I think they needed to go this route after the airplane one. This show felt a little more grounded. It really hit on all the reasons that made me like the show in the first place.
Someone needs to die. The body count was pretty high over the first several episodes of the season – two terminal patients and a suicide – but it’s been a while since anyone died, unless I missed a body. The show isn’t as effective if I’m too sure that the patient is, at the end, going to walk out of the hospital and live a long, healthy life.
But still, if he showers (or at least washes his hands and his nether parts) after using the cream, how could the kids get enough to make them sick? Especially if all the sex was at the girlfriend’s house.
I’m not a regular House viewer and I thought this ailment was really far-fetched.
Except for the girlfriend getting a moustache. That was funny.
Hmmmm. I don’t know. Do topical hormonal creams actually penetrate deeply enough to cause such afflictions in others who are not even using said creams?
Anybody know for sure?
“You guys are idiots.”
