Hiya, HouDope gatherees! As per the Houston, Texas Dopers Recongregate! thread, we’re having a two-fer SDMB IRL this weekend, down here in Houston, Texas (reminds me of Archie Bell and the Drells).

Now we’ve had a good response with a lot of positive R.S.V.P.s and I’m expecting to meet several people, as well as renew acquaintance with others. I am, as always, recruiting. If you’re reading this and it is at all feasible for you to join us, please do!

I’m still holding out hope that dear phouka can muster, as well as possibly Cheffie and any other D/FW troupers we can find. SA is going to loan us purplebear; any others from that locale? Many of you that are closer have checked in and we’re looking forward to seeing some of the tentative respondents (can we coax starfish out for a meet?).

If we’ve never heard from you at all, it’s OK, surprise us!

I’ll be picking Fort Worth (this lady really is a) trouper zyada up at the airport @ 5:45, so we’ll be hustlin’ to get there; she’s bringing an SDMB sign for our table(s). The foregoing brings to mind another subject - since we’ll be pushing to get there by 7:00, if anyone else can get there on time or early, try to scarf a couple of tables and push’em together. The big room you enter first is the best candidate, methinks.

Cool! I’ll be there on Sat for sure! Right now, Sun is iffy, will explain when I see you guys. But, I’m trying my best to be at both.

I forgot where I left my ya-yas after the last Hou-dope meeting. If I don’t make it to the Sat. night meeting y’all ** could ** ask if anyone there found them and turned them in since the last meeting was at Ale House.

We are still fighting the which day do we want to do this thing battle .

Ummm, one of my yas is broke, so I’ll only be able to get a ya out.
