I’m open anytime between Sept. 24th and Dec. 2nd. 
I’m up for one anytime, but after what I saw this weekend, I hold out very little hope that a ChiDope would remain ‘quiet’ for too long.

I do have a party room in my condo complex that we could TRY do have a low key get together. We’d have to be out of there by midnight. And if we can get our shit together, we could go to to race track (Arlington Park) the next day, to make up for it.
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, boli and I were discussing the idea of an all-girl ChiDope. Perhaps we could plan these two things together. Obnoxious and loud boys and obnoxious and loud girls seperately party on a Friday night, then a quiet, low-key gathering for all on Saturday.
For those of you that drive for the privilege of being a ChiDoper, it seems a full weekend would be better than only one night. Plus, it may give you a chance to arrive home on Sunday in a better frame of mind than the usual.
Is this a possibility? If not, I’ll just have to plan something else, and if it’s just me and boli, well…we never liked y’all anyway. 
UncleBeer, I think you’re the thing that actually gives Randy hope that this Board is somewhat normal. He went to the Ann Arbor Dope we had back in January and was bored stiff. But that restaurant wasn’t exactly conducive to quiet conversation, as is his wont.
I think there’s enough quiet Dopers around that Randy could get a word in edgewise, which would be good. He was raised to be polite and therefore doesn’t interrupt…at all. (How, you ask, do he and I ever have a conversation? It’s been a learned skill, trust me! 
)
Plan away and we’ll see what we can do.

- Apparently, one of our homeowners winged a burglar who was going to sue, saying that the fancy house was an attractive nuisance and it was the homeowner’s fault that he couldn’t resist breaking in. Homeowner and his lawyer welcomed the chance to hear this bozo try to explain that to a judge, but the guy chickened out.
What the hell is going on at these American Dopefests??
All the ones in Europe involve A night on the town and much drunken hilarity ensuing, and yet everyone still had their dignity afterwards!! (well, I not me, especially after Amsterdam. And London. ;)). Apparently all the Yank ones turn into romanesque love fests!!
What are we doing wrong??
Speaking of which, we’re off out for another session tonight. Rick Q is our guest of Honour, and we are kicking things off in the smallest pub in Europe!!
I’m going to be out of town from September 29th through October 7th. The weekend of October 12th, 13th, and 14th would be perfect.
Did the laundry bar and some 8ball with MikeG and Jess(lurker and Friend of Vile) last night. Had a great time.
I like Nymmy’s idea.
On another note, several people commented to me that they didn’t sing, but they danced. Next LOUD dopefest why don’t we go dancing? Vile happens to be rather rhythmic.
Beginning of October is better for me too.
If I can come to the next LOUD DopeFest, dancing is a divine idea. Vile, put me on your dance card!

Since it sounds like a good chunk of the day will be spent at mag’s (if dinner is involved), I don’t see why people couldn’t hit a bar for some dancing later on. I mean, it’s not a LAW that we have to stay quiet all night long, is it? Of course, if no one else wants to go, that’s fine too.
