Yay! Finally found diesel for under $5.50/gallon yesterday (Memphis- $5.45).
If you’d told me a few years ago I’d be celebrating that price…

I just filled up for $4.779/gal, suburban Chicago.
I took a business trip (via car) from Chicago to Minneapolis this week. I filled up twice in Wisconsin, at around $4.35 both times. Prices here in suburban Cook County are around $5.35 right now.
My local Exxon was $3.73 when I filled up this morning. - Galveston Bay area
Still $4.459 this morning.
It was $4.25 at Costco in SE Michigan today.
$3.54 central Texas. Seems Sleepy Big Guy Biden is turning the gas price rheostat mounted on the Presidential desk slowly down. there is no Presidential rheostat or actual control over prices by a president in spite of the wild-eyed belief of keyboard warriors.
US refineries are running at 94% as of June. Woe if there is major downtime or a gulf hurricane. Total refining capacity decreased in 2021 for the second consecutive year.
Back down to a tranquil $6/gal for regular the other day. Beats $6.70!
Paid $4.29 yesterday. Taking inflation into account, that’s practically the same as in 1981.
At the stations a few blocks away from me, in suburban Cook County, IL, it’s now $5.15, down about 70 cents from a month ago.
$4.45 for regular, premium at $4.99. The motorcycle is back under $20 to fill completely.
I think the Ontario government reduced taxes temporarily to lessen the price. It’s still high at about fourteen bits a litre Canadian, or US $5.12 per gallon.
Costco price 3.66 regular. It's about .25 higher at many chain stations.

Going down slowly but surely here in Wisconsin. Around $4.32 regular on average. Diesel is still pretty bad at $5.30 though.
$3.89, $3.79 for the 15% ethanol stuff (I assume, I just saw both prices on the big display)

Well damn. My discount at Sam’s Club yesterday only brought it down to $4.19 in Concord, New Hampshire.
Last weekend it was down to $3.55. Middle TN.

In the UK. In US prices, fuel is currently $8.39/gallon
My last post was wrong - it peaked at $4.999 here. I missed my typo. Anyway, it’s down to $4.139 at the WaWa, and it’s been dropping steadily. We have to drive to Florida next week, and it won’t be a gawd-awful expensive as it had been. I guess that’s something. I’ll be curious to see the rates along I-95.
I paid $3.999/gallon at Costco on Sunday in SE Michigan.
