If you live in Ohio, Michigan, or Indiana you’ll likely see 30 more cents, so TOP OFF ALERT for those states. My guess is that the cold wave has shut down various refineries in the region, so I’d also recommend fill-ups for [edit] ALL states, since the southern ones can also be affected during cold snaps.
It’s been $3.399 at the Lummi Nation’s 76 station. Yesterday I saw $3.159 at the station at Angel of the Winds Casino ( Stillaguamish Tribe). I mentioned before that I don’t know if that’s just the cash price.
Got gas for $2.899 this morning. Hadn’t been watching the prices daily but it was at $3.199 last time I noticed.
Here in Corona, CA the price for regular at the ARCO I go to is $4.20 right now.
Price at the pump this morning was $2.53 (I paid $2.13 with my Kroger fuel points). It has held fairly steady for the last month between 2.39 and 2.59, depending on the station.
ETA: SE Texas
I dunno how long this will last, and it surprised the heck out of me when I confirmed it this morning, but the Midwest chain Sheetz currently has plus and premium with the same price as regular, at every location I’ve sampled online (and the one I filled up at this morning, for $2.58/gallon). My guess is that the sale ends on Feb 1st, so top off now.
$3.359 yesterday.
$3.089 today
$24,943.46 per gallon?
Oil down 6 bucks last week, wholesale gas 15 cents so expect declines across the country next week.

I just filled up both my cars at Costco this afternoon and it was $2.79 for regular. A $0.29 increase since my last post. Drove by Speedway and Marathon and they were showing $3.07 a gallon.
I noticed regular unleaded hovering at 3.209 this morning. Ten doper bucks says it gets below $3 this week.
Chicago - Western O’Hare airport area.
$4.20 at Costco in Oahu, Hawaii today. Been typical of the last month.
Prices have climbed steeply in the last week, and I don’t know why.
‘Our’ Arco station was $3.399 (credit price) recently. Higher than the Lummi 70 station, but more convenient. I refuelled Thursday, and it was up to $3.599 (credit). My wife said she’d refuelled at a Marathon station in Bellingham on Thursday for $3.219. We went there yesterday, and it was $3.519 or $3.619. Meanwhile the Lummi station was a little higher.
Seattle doesn’t appear to cycle regularly and extremely like some other cities/states do-my guess is a temporary (hopefully) drop in local gasoline stocks, perhaps due to refinery maintenance.
Yep, West Coast refinery use is down for the West Coast: 74.7%.
For everyone else, wholesale gas nationally dropped about 6 cents this past week, but 'tis the season for those refineries to do their thang, and for warmer states they’ll be switching to the more expensive summer blends very soon if they aren’t already.
Yep. In a couple of months we’ll be in refinery fire/explosion season.
I paid $2.81 today at a strangely cheap station. The next cheapest in price that I encountered today was $2.91 and at the far end of my trip another 15 miles away from where I filled up some stations were as high as $3.19.
Gas has edged up slightly over the past couple of weeks and most stations are around $2.65 now, but I passed a Buc-ee’s yesterday that was still at $2.53
Prices are climbing slowly. I bought gas last weekend priced 2.89. I did get a discount for grocery saving prices.
