China Guy, this would be a great one for you. My wife and I lived in China from 2003-2005. During that time, we broke no laws.
Currently, we are living in the United States and are trying to adopt from Taiwan. Taiwan requires a confirmation that we broke no laws while living there.
My wife tried to talk to the American consulate, but was unable to get a hold of them. Is there another way to get a confirmation that we broke no laws while living there?
