In one of the Florida lottery games, you can now “Choose your own jackpot!” You can buy a regular ticket for a buck to win thousands, or you can pay two bucks to win more thousands, or pay three bucks to win a million! At no time does the commercial claim your odds of winning are any better…but if you do win, you get more!
I dunno. I find a new-found respect for the inventiveness of man. The guys who market this stuff are no fools - they know how to separate mugs from their money.
