:dubious: Alright Siege, you can stay. For now. But no walkng on the “pavement” to avoid the “lorries”. And absolutly no going to the “loo”. We find any extra "u"s in your posts there’s going to be trouble . We speak American here, damnit!!

In the fashion of the political movement, really.
Yeah, I got it. But it’s worth noting that fushj00mang doesn’t know what he’s talking about either.
As other here have said, “BWAAAHAHAHAHA!”
Tell me, do you have to gamble your job, house and marriage once a year in a crapshoot based on whether some petty bureaucrat is having a hemorrhoid flare-up? Because that’s what I, as a legal, documented alien have to do every year (every three years now, actually) to renew my visa. I do it because the benefits outweigh the risks, but that doesn’t make it any less shaky.
Every 3 years? Is that as a Permanent Resident Alien?
No, you contemptible shit, I see no need to argue with you. Arguing with turds is the mark of a madman.
Daniel
No, after about five years, they started approving me for 3-year versions of the same “humanities and international something-or-other specialist” visa that I’d had one-year versions of up until then. Currently, I’m on a spousal visa, which is also three years. Now that I’ve been here for ten years, I’m eligible for permanent residency, but I haven’t gotten around to applying for that yet. When I do eventually get it, I’ll start a ‘Turning Japanese’ thread in MPSIMS.
Actually, given that you didn’t advocate murdering people in your last post, I want to retract the venom contained herein. I still think your position is dumb, but it’s not nearly as contemptibly idiotic as your first post to this thread was.
Nevertheless, I see no reason to argue with you. If you want an argument, go to Great Debates and start a new thread, and don’t start off by poisoning the well with atrocious nonsense like your first post in this thread.
Daniel
Thanks, Sublight. I had some interaction with the Yokohama Immigration Office. In my case, they were kind, considerate, and even helpful. The jerks who weren’t were the contemptible scum at the Philippine Embassy, and a particular Filipino Senior Chief Personnelman, about whom it would be a lie to say he’s as dishonest and unethical as the day is long. He’s worse than that.
To be honest, I haven’t had too much trouble in Japan. They weren’t always cheerful and polite* but things got done within a reasonable amount of time without too much hassle.
*I used to live in Hamamatsu, in Shizuoka-ken. I think the government allocates funding for immigration issues based on local population, which is enough for Hamamatsu to rate a one-room office with three or four employees issuing visas. Owing to quirks of economics and culture, however, there’s an enormous Brazilian/Peruvian community there, which means that those four employees have to face a crowd of people lined up out the door, every single day from morning 'til night. Definitely not a very cheerful bunch, though I never had any complaint about their professionalism.
Kiss my ass, Dorkness.
Pithy, but I think “Bese mi culo” would have been wittier.
Indeed; I’ll expect witty from Clothahump around the same time I expect pineapple juice from my computer.
Daniel
Would you settle for coffee ?
I just love that pc mod, and I am on a mission to share it with as many people as possible.
Seconded. More or less what I was thinking and didn’t say.
Get a grip. I should have said re-read the article. It seemed you didn’t bother to read it in the first place given your ignorant remarks.
And BTW, I’m hardly advocating that the situation for illegals is a good thing. As you point out that opens them up to being exploited by employers. What pisses me off is the way you automatcally associated Mexican + immigrant = illegal. You’re still a dimwit as far as I’m concerned.
This is the first post i’ve understood on here yet!
Hmm. I wonder if betenoir’s head can be 'sploded via "u"s…
Honour! Colour! Valour! Bwahahhaah.
Also, fushj00mang is worryingly cavalier with people’s lives. I suggest, for our own protection, we build a wall around him manned by highly trained snipers.
Looks like Farmwoman got it in one; there’s now a news release on the school district’s web site, which says in part:
He has lost a large amount of it. He’s actually had to have a dialect coach work with him to restore the accent, as it is a major part of the Schwarzenegger persona. People expect him to speak with the “Ah-nuld” accent and are disappointed when he doesn’t.
Better start sucking your keyboard then, Dork.
With all due respect, Clothahump, I’m not convinced you’re the best judge of witty, for the same reason that Geraldo Rivera isn’t on the Pulitzer Prize committee.
