What were the odds on Boston being in the Series when they were 0 out of 3 to the Yankees? How would you find out the “line” then?
Were the Yankees favored to win each individual game? They have the money and the team mass, right?
And what are the odds now of Boston actually winning the World Series?
Shouldn’t we wait and see who we’re playing first?
Not necessarily. Bookies were giving odds on the Sox (and all other MLB teams) reaching the World Series before the season even began. Unfortunately, I don’t know where to point the OP to get information on what those odds were at the time. I’m sure some bookie would have taken your money when the Sox were down 0-3, and probably given astronomical odds that they would survive the ALCS. Again, I don’t know where those odds may be found. You could probably bet the Sox today versus either the Cards or Astros at one set of odds and tomorrow bet the Sox against whichever NL team wins tonight at different odds.
I think the OP is asking how those odds have changed from day-to-day over the last few weeks.
