How did this NCIS episode end?

Last night, I was watching this episode of NCIS on satellite TV and shortly before it was over, a thunderstorm rolled thru, killing the signal.

The last thing I saw was that the Venezuelan Diplomat suspected of murder/espionge was enroute to or already at the airport and McGee was supposed to do something to keep the private plane from departing. Also unresolved was why the Navy LT who supposedly committed suicide had $60K in her apartment.

So, did they nail the bad guy? Did they prove who the mole was? Did Mrs. Mallard ever get lucky with Gibbs?? :wink: Does anyone know how it ended??

I think I’ve seen that episode. Gibbs’s gut told him the right answer just seconds before Abby called with the DNA evidence, Ziva made a mistake about American culture, and Tony was a dick. Then there was a black-and-white freeze frame.

The diplomat was a red herring - basically set up by the bad guy.

The bad guy was caught - Mrs. Mallard’s escapades are still unknown.

The mole (and the killer) was -


The dead Lt’s commanding officer - the clue was that he said that the LT had ‘shot herself in the head’ and he was not told that.

Yanno, I kinda thought he might be the killer - the “shot herself in the head” comment caught my attention, but since no one seemed to react, I thought I’d missed something.
