Ncis 4/3

Anything special I should know that happened during the first 14 minutes? The station ate up that part with weather information.

Opening montage shows Gibbs and his female love interest Army Col Hollis at a batting range fooling around. Meanwhile another NCIS team was trying to meet with an anonymous caller. The caller walked into the shop, the NCIS agents followed and the shop blew up - suicide bomber. Both agents killed, female team leader very distraught. Gibbs team gets the call just before they were going to play hide the salami.

Suicide bomber is in many pieces. Lovely scene when Ziva finds his head stuck in the ceiling and drops it to the floor. Ducky says that the suicide bomber was dead for 24 hours. Abby says that she is positive the callers voice is that of the dead man. Arguments ensue. Tony very freaked out when he finds out that their team (Gibbs team) actually had the weekend duty but Gibbs swapped so he could have a date. With death, dismemberment and destruction all around, Tony decides he needs to make up to his Dr. friend - hence the closing scene.

Them’s the highlights.

I’m beginning to get the impression that Ziva has acquired the hots for Tony and that they may be future conflict brewing between her and his Dr. friend.

speaking of ‘the hots,’ can somebody clear up a visual for me?

on the previous weeks’ show, the final shot was somebody staring at a picture on a computer monitor. looked up far too late. who was doing the staring and who were they looking at?

i’m suspecting a stalker ep of some sort?

All season long there have been various teasers about a super secret spy job that Tony is doing for the Director. You might remember him spying on the guys at the airport and being identified (or at least spotted) later at a restaurant. No one is supposed to know about it although Gibbs has hinted he knows. There have been two or three of these “sightings” of Tony worked into the scripts.

I assume that’s it’s leading up to a season ending cliff hanger of some type. My guess would include his lady Dr. friend being killed, kidnapped or somehow involved.

I thought the sub arc of Tony doing undercover was resolved…

NCIS isn’t a show I watch for greater themes and mysteries*.

*It’s the ensemble cast that works really well, and the great amount of really hot women.

No, but it is funnier than any of the sitcoms on the tube today.

The men aren’t exactly hard on the eyes either.
