Somehow I pressed an ad for the US Coast Guard (go coast guard.com) and now if I type G for google that’s the first suggestion I get. It’s minorly irritating but I just wasn’t sure how to look up the right question.
What browser app are you using?
In Edge you go to the 3-line “hamburger” menu on the bottom right of the browser, then choose History, then search history for guard.com, click “Edit” at the bottom right, then check the box to the left of guard.com, then “Delete.”
Looks like Chrome is almost exactly the same, only the first bit is a 3-dot menu.
Firefox.
In Firefox you click the 3-line “hamburger” menu at the bottom right, then choose History, and click the trash can at the bottom left.
Unfortunately your only options are to delete everything from today, today & yesterday, or everything. You can’t selectively delete.
Oh butts. Ah well, thanks anyway.
I think you can selectively delete if you click on the offending page, right
click and select “delete page”.
