How do I get that picture of the firefighters raising the flag?

I have seen the picture of the three firefighters putting up the American flage amidst all the ruins of the World Trade Center several times this week. I was wondering how I can go about obtaining that picture. I would like to frame it and put it on my wall. Does anyone have any idea? I don’t want some cheasy copy off of the internet or anything, I want a glossy photo of it so it looks nice. That was such a moving picture.

If you can find a high resolution copy on the net and take it to a good photo delelopment shop they can make a glossy photo of it for you.

You call The Record newspaper in Hackensack, NJ, and ask to buy a reprint. That’s where the photographer who took that picture works, and like most newspapers, I assume they have system for selling reprints of pictures that ran in their newspaper. Every newspaper I’ve ever worked for did, anyway.

Anything else would be copyright infringement and theft of intellectual property, something that’s not looked upon too highly around here. (Try searching this forum for threads on Napster if you don’t know what I’m talking about.)

Here’s the best copy I’ve seen on the internet, in terms of size and quality. But if you want to frame it, indeed the right thing to do would be to buy a reprint.
