How do I make echinechea tea from scratch?

I have this plant a plenty in my garden and know that with other herbs ( peppermint, spearmint) that if I want to make tea, just pick a few leaves and put them in a pot of cold water to boil, and viola.

But, googling for my quest to see if this is the same for this plant has only brought up tea companies.

Any hints?

Here’s the best site I could find:

thanks, cher. I never thought it would be the roots soaked in 100 proof vodka that have medicinal properties. Hmmmm.

First you catch and echidna.

Then you boil it.
