I use MS word to spell check words I’m not sure about. But whenever I open up word the zoom is set to ‘whole page’ so the word I type is tiny and unreadable.
how do I set word to remember to start up in ‘page width’?
:wally I meant ‘zoom’. And yes I am aware that ‘e’ is 5 keys away from ‘o’, but my brain just sends the wrong vowel to the hands sometimes ok?
Word (at least Word 2000 & Word 2003) starts in the zoom and view style (Normal / Web Layout / Print Layout) that you last closed it in.
If you really use Word mostly for that, just reset the zoom to whatever you want, then quit Word. Viola! Next time you open it it’ll be the size you want.
Or, when you have your doc at the size you want, click “Save” and next time it will open at that same size.
