How do I restore Java?

I use Windows 98 for my O/S and MSN Explorer for my browser/ISP. About 2 weeks ago Java stopped working on my browser. This means I can’t go to any of the cool gaming sites I used to go to, like www.pogo.com and others. The Games simply won’t work anymore, it gives me an error message saying Java is not working properly.
Any suggestions?

      • Go to My Computer->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs, highlight whatever “Internet Explorer” listing is there [mine says Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools"] and hit the “add/remove” button. On my Win98SE PC, it comes up with three options: add a component, repair Internet Explorer, or restore it to a previous configuration. Probably go for the middle one. - DougC
