I get tired of emailing photos from my iPhone 6S to myself, so I thought I’d try Airdrop. This is what I did:
- Chose a photo.
- Clicked the Share icon.
- Clicked the Airdrop icon.
- Clicked the MacBook Pro icon.
In Finder, I had previously opened Airdrop, which was empty. Upon clicking on the MacBook Pro icon on the phone, the icon displayed ‘Sent’ under it. The Finder window shows a circle with my initials in it, with my name an ‘iPhone’ underneath.
Now what? I can’t click on the circle with the initials. I don’t see the photos on my desktop. So where are the files? How do I get photos off of my iPhone without emailing them to me?
