Being a former Okie, I know for a fact that everyone in Texas is in fact, an asshole, devil worshiping, unAmerican, gun loving (in a much more literal sense than you think), dog loving (again, more literal) freak of nature.

(repeat, as Okies can only remember two words to a song)
And as a former Orangeman I can tell you that we’re still waiting for our Big XII basketball conference trophy from 2003. Remember the year we owned you and Texas and OK State and Kansas for good measure?
How and when did this turn into a college pissing contest (not that I’m complaining)?
Did any of the protesters who put up the crosses in the first place, bother themselves with first asking the families of the dead soldiers for their permission?
Holy fuck, man. We get it. We ALL fucking get it. You’ve got a hard on for bashing conservatives. Seriously, we understand and recognize your hatred of all things conservative. But seriously, do you need to do this shit in EVERY FUCKING THREAD?
According to the blog, there were 800 crosses. I think that it is highly unlikely that 800 family members traveled to Texas to put up a cross. It’s also rather insensitive to the dead soldiers who were not Christians.
Just Texas? Sorry; But broad generalizations and ridicule are allowed when referring to any southern white male. Or did I miss the memo limiting this to Texans only?
First link is a picture and another version of the story. Second link is not valid; the entire domain appears empty even. Third link has this quotation from Northern, “Baylor parent and Woodway resident Larry Northern said he decided to support Lynch because he was ‘honest, straight-shooting and moral.’ Northern said Lynch’s favorite saying was, ‘Don’t do crime because you’re going to do the time.’” I dunno how that can be called a “boast.” Fourth link is a blog post, and even is we had some means of judging the veracity of the author, the author only says he’s “seen Larry Northern 100 times.” What the blog doesn’t say is that its author actually knows Northern.
Great cites you’ve got there, rjung. Not a single one of which supports your claim.
This makes just two examples on that road of attempting to squelch dissent by terror. Reminds me of the reconstructionist-era “gun clubs” that practiced outside black polling locations…
