I assume it’s because that other person is, if the story is true, borderline homicidal, and trying to evict her might push her over the edge.
If the woman was raking her leaves onto his property or something, I might see your point. But this is quite literally a life or death situation. The OP should be behaving as if the house were on fire.
The problem is, when you live with this a long time it becomes normal to you and you don’t know how screwed up it is.
But lucky you, we’re telling you. GTFO.
If I was your daughter and you made me live in this house when we could have had a chance I might never forgive you. Ever.
Go now!
Take the child.
If you wife loves you, she will catch up later.
If not, divorce her, & make certain the judge knows about the living conditions.
You owe it to the kid!
Go now!
Tonight.
It has been three days. If you are still in this house, you have made your choice, and I can not help you.
I hope you and your children are out of there! At least send the kids to a friend or relative until you choose to get out.
I know this decision is hard to make. It has to be made so that your kids do not get more damaged (either psycologicaly or physicaly) or killed.
f you need to ask how to deal with a real possibility of being murdered by someone in the same building, you are probably too far gone to take the obvious course of action.
If the crazy woman cannot be the one who wakes up dead, she should at least wake up alone.
If you cannot get the rest out of harm’s way, at least get yourself out - divorce as soon as you have the sense to get pics and voice recordings for the judge, but leave NOW.
Maybe you should also be calling CPS about their child? Your BIL has a choice as to whether he can live with this bitch – their kid doesn’t.
I hate to be one of those “think of the children” types, but in this case – think of your fucking child, dude!
I don’t believe the OP will be returning to this thread. He does this quite a bit. I think it’s because the thread takes a turn he hadn’t predicted, so he just abandons it.
Think about it, how are you going to defend raising a child in such circumstances? Also I believe he lives in the West Indies, Trinidad if I recall correctly. Where there is no really effective CPS and people are, let’s say, ‘colourful’.
I was at the uni with 2 West Indian roommates and they told similar stories, and were shocked anyone would consider calling CPS over such things. They just seemed to take for granted that all children would be exposed to such idiocy if they grew up on the islands. There was a huge disconnect between a ‘lively and colourful’ upbringing, and damaging exposure to dysfunction, especially for children.
It was laughable to them, that Canadian’s so coddled and protected their children, during their first years in Canada. They just did not get it, at all. By their third year they were beginning to recognize that maybe their own culture was a little brutish, in ways. And that possibly it wasn’t cool to expose kids to all kinds of nonsense and drama just because they had come up through it and they were ‘just fine’, after all.
(Just my guess, based on my personal experiences. Thought I’d take a shot as the OP seems to have wandered away uninterested in the opinions he asked for.)
Bumping to see if grude has been murdered yet.
How would we know if he was, though?
this strikes me as profound.
I like the phrase “Grude the enabler.” It should be the title of something.
The other night I was standing by my front door, it was open and I observed crazy bitch and BIL walking in to their floor below me.
Crazy bitch was carrying their baby and her face was like the angriest face I’ve ever seen, for real. BIL was walking behind her with his hands clasped behind his back and his eyes on the ground, he never raised his head or made eye contact with me.
I know it probably sounds horrible but I about collapsed laughing once I was inside, I just couldn’t take it. It was the combination of her putting on this sour puss face “game face” when approaching her house I mean imagine someone <like that>, and him doing whatever he was doing looking like a sad dog. I feel horrible for him but he is determined to keep this going which is sad, really sad.
And no I did not abandon the thread I just didn’t expect it would have been so popular, I was also very busy. We are actually planning on moving to the USA over this, I won’t miss this house.
Oh new post because edit timeout would have eaten my post by the time I was done…
I think I posted this before but the other family member crazy bitch has pulled a weapon on and threatened to kill is my wife and BIL’s aunt, unlike us she does not have the option of moving several thousand miles away.
CB and BIL are doing their usual daily argument, much yelling and screaming. Aunt happens to be visiting my wife and decides she will go calm this argument because she is worried it could turn violent and CB might get hurt or hurt BIL. She goes down there and says “<BIL’s name> ok why don’t you just give the girl some space before this turns physical, let her go outside or you come outside ok?”
CB grabs a beer bottle and breaks it, points it at aunt and says:
“Get the fuclk out of here you just want him to yourself so you can fuck him”
Honest to god.
Something I forgot to add that shocked the hell out of me, my wife was filling out forms for a restraining order against CB and she had a copy of the one CB filed against BIL, it had CBs date of birth.
Crazy bitch is 21! WHAT I thought she was at least late twenties. My BIL is pushing fifty.
Bring me a case of Matouk’s if you move back!!
I’m guessing you mean Mauby concentrate? Matouk’s is a whole brand line like Kraft
I’m really gonna miss Bentley and doubles vendors on the street:(
“… and then he ran into my knife! He ran into my knife TEN TIMES!”
I didn’t throw dirty water on the child, I was throwing dirty water out the window and the child just happened to be there. What I can never throw dirty water out the window just because her kid is there?
You get the idea.
There is a hot sauce we use when in St Martin called Matouk’s Calypso Sauce. I think it’s from Trinidad/Tobago. We usually bring a couple bottles home with us but they do not last long enough.
