Errrrr, not sure what you are driving at but I’ll have a stab.
My wife and I “Go Bavarian” which is a lot less kinky then it sounds. We have a largish bed with nice thick cotton undersheet, no oversheet but a single quilt each. Makes for less fighting over a double quilt and lets us each moderate our temperature accordingly via wrapping up, legs in/out or even swapping one quilt for a different tog rating.
We call it “Bavarian” as on our travels across Europe, that is the default style of bedding in Bavaria/Austria and it works well for us.
