Has anyone else noticed that if the title were changed to “Mundane Pointless Stuff I SIMPLY Must Share”, it would then be called “M-P-Sisms”? (Or Mipsisms, if you prefer.) You know, like witticism, or criticism. The very first time I read the title, I thought it should have that extra S word, both for the acronym’s sake and for a more mellifluous forum title.
Or would I be tampering with the sacred here?
mipsims here. IIRC, there was much discussion in Spiffled about this. The “mipsims” crowd won. 
I’m stupid and I always see some of the letters reversed, so I pronounce it like “Miss Pisms.”
Mumpsimus. This has the advantage of being a real (if archaic) word that fits in quite nicely. Look it up (if you have an unabridged-enough dictionary).

Hmmm…I’ve been using “impysims”–close to “M-P-Sims” but with connotations of impish whimsy.
