Hey there. I use a Wacom tablet for my computer almost everyday. Most of the people I work with do too. Seems like there are two distinctive pronunciations of the word and it drives me nuts. Is it pronounced “way-com” or “wack-em”. Personally I favor the way-com variation. Does anyone know for sure?
I don’t, but I’ve also heard why-com. Wouldn’t mind knowing the answer myself.

Thanks beatle!
Just droped em a line. Answering machine said waah-kum. Wow, a whole new way to say it! How annoying.
Incidently, Ahunter, I figured you were just kidding but I guess you were closest of all.
Give that poster a cee-gar!
Wacom? I hardly knew 'em! Man, it’s late…
Of course, it’s pronounced just like it’s spelled.
“Throatwobbler Mangrove.”
::ducks and runs::
All I wanna do is to thank you, even though I don’t know who you are…
Here’s a cut and paste of an email that I sent to them the other day:
Hello,
You pronounce it as “wah-come” with the emphasis on the first syllable.

No, wait - it’s spelled just like it sounds.
