Heh. The Grange in the tiny semi-rural town where I work holds a pork-BBQ-and-oyster dinner twice a year; I guess they don’t have a lot of Jews living hereabouts.

I disagree with the idea that manners top morals.
On the other hand, for many of us in this thread, we do not so much have a conviction that alcohol is IMMORAL so much as we have a conviction that alcohol is UNDESIRABLE. I’m ok with manners topping practical issues.

I get a different brand of vodka every year for christmas from the wife. Its a standard gift. I’m hoping for Tito’s Handmade this year…
