How do you restore the default settings of Internet Options and Network Connections?
For Internet Options, open IE and go to the menus for “Tools” -> “Internet Options” -> “Programs” and click the button that says “Reset Web Settings”
There is no one button solution for Network Connections as the are too many mutually exclusive possibilities. You wouldn’t use the modem defaults with a DSL connection (for example) so there isn’t any one default state. When connections get messed up, the usual solution is to delete the connectoid and make a new connection from scratch. If you’re having a particular problem with a connection, post the details and maybe someone can help.
