There’s no real fixed point, as I’ve been spending time lately at three seperate residences, but they’re all within a few miles of my birthplace, and in the same city.
108 miles according to that site, but its a 145 mile drive. I’m in college now so that is expected, when I graduate it’ll probably be hundreds of miles away.
First 18 years of my life: about 20 miles from the hospital.
Currently: About 1700 miles.
I’m hoping this summer I’ll be about…3548 miles (Atlantic ocean included) away. The closest I will ever willingly live is about 125 miles (the distance between Philly and D.C.).
I almost had the closest location last time, hopefully I can win this go-round.
By mapquest, it’s precisely a half-mile, I live in the same neighborhood as the hospital I was born at, and had my son 22 years later. The hospital’s right next to the middle school my son attends now, although it was a junior high when I went there.
While I live ~40 mins by car from the house I grew up in, I was born in Los Angeles. Since I now live a mile from the Chesapeake Bay, that’s ~3000 miles away, I guess. (Too lazy to mapquest it.)
For the rest of us Americans and other silly people, this is 5573 miles.
I do remember, I once slipped up and told Noone Special that I lived 17,000 miles away from my birthplace instead of 7,000. I mean, it’s just an extra 10,000 miles, right?
