I’ve retired to the town I was born in. It’s about half a mile from my house to the building that housed the hospital. That building is now a college dormitory.
12 miles from the house I own now to the rough location of the hospital I was born at. I say rough because crazed villagers with torches and pitchforks tore the old University hospital down a few decades back and they built a new one a couple of blocks away.
By “place you were born”, do you mean your first home or literally the hospital?
