I live about 4 kilometers from the hospital where I was born and I work just a kilometer away from it.
I was born in Jinan, China. I now live in Perth, WA. I also, at one point, lived in Vancouver, Canada. I am too tired to calculate how far apart these cities are, and no websites seem to want to do it for me. Maybe tomorrow.

(Six days and six nights on a yawing, wallowing tub with two small children was an adventure in hindsight, at the time, it sucked royally!)

I’ve heard that, too.
Our nearest Catholic hospital does Catholic prayers (different from Protestant prayers in that they mention Mary a lot) over the loud speaker every evening. But I’ve been told they sometimes do “other” (or was it “non-denominational”?) prayers, too. Still and all, if you’re an atheist, you’d probably want to go elsewhere for inpatient stays.
