I managed this feat this evening, actually. I was surprised, because little sugar crystals usually hurl themselves across my kitchen when I open the packet…
I don’t get it. You open a pit thread to complain that…nothing’s wrong?
God damn my telephone! It rings when someone calls me! And how about my god damn shoes? They fit properly and don’t even squeak when I walk! Or my stupid fucking neighbor who said, “Good morning” to me when it was still a few minutes before noon! What a clod!
I think only once in my life have I managed to open a packet of sugar without spilling some.

Apparently someone spilled some sugar, and bienville, who, I suppose, never spilled anything or had any sort of minor accident in her life, is all upset about it.
I just assumed that he works in an office, which has a kitchen counter that is always covered in spilled sugar because people who spill sugar at work can’t seem to figure out that they need to WIPE UP the spilled sugar.
Spoiler box fail, btw, in that the “spoiler” is visible on mouseover anyway. Spoiler boxes don’t prevent that.
This is exactly what I asked my brat before I gave her a fat lip. That’ll learn her.

Fucking coffee drinkers in my office can’t seem to manage to clean up anything they spill. I swear to god they must believe brownies live in the break room and scurry out to clean up after them when the lights are off.

No kidding. Little creamer cups, drips of creamer, spilled sugar, empty sugar packets, used stir sticks, all lying around on the counters, because God knows you couldn’t possible throw those things away and wipe a freaking counter.
Wouldn’t it be easier with the lights on?

We have that problem ALL the time in our break room. It always seems to fall to a select few of us to notice the mess and clean it up, or make new coffee because an empty pot has been left, or refill paper towels etc. Just the other day we had a REAL mess in there when some idjit actually managed to make a new pot of coffee - without putting the coffee pot back under the drip. Lovely mess.
Sorry, I meant to type “mouseover of the thread title” - when you’re in the Pit itself you can mouseover the thread title and see what’s in the spoiler box as there’s so little text in front of it.
Aha. I figured out what you’re talking about. It’s not when you are looking at the OP in the thread.
You can see this when you are looking at the Thread List page, and you mouse-over the title there – where you then see the preview of the beginning of the OP. It shows up there. Oops.
Interesting! I never would have noticed that, so thanks for the warning! I’ll never put a spoiler box in the first few lines of an OP.
