How has Former President Trump pissed you off today?

Sure, but it’s kind of like you can refer to your wife as fat, but nobody else had better say it.

Here’s where there’s another liberal/conservative disconnect. There are shithole countries, that’s a fact. And because of that some of the people there have lots of problems and they develop lots of undesirable character traits that the logical among us don’t want our family, friends and country exposed to. We have enough problems as it is. Skin color has absolutely nothing to do with it. Unfortunately most of the world outside Europe, the former communist states and the U.S. are people of one color or another, so any non-favorable action involving the U.S. and a populace not predominately white (i.e., most of the outside world) is ipso-facto racism to the SJW crowd, no matter the true concern or the true goal. So tiresome.

Now, do I think Trump should have said what he did? IMO, it would have been better had he phrased his thinking in a more diplomatic way. But the fact is that one of the key factors in his having been elected is that he doesn’t resort to namby-pamby diplomatic politico-speak that says nothing and commits to nothing.

And just FYI, you guys need to stop calling everything you don’t like that involves anyone not a WASP racism if you don’t want to continue alienating the rest of the country and get another round of Trump in 2020. The rest of the country has been hearing this shit for 50 years now and they’re fed up with it. Trump’s supporters aren’t unswayed by his comments because they’re racists but because they aren’t and they therefore see no racial motive in what Trump said.

If you don’t get that that was a whole shitbag of racism, then you are as racist as he is. Sorry, that’s a fact.

I’m curious as to what definition you’ve managed to construct for “shithole countries” (well, besides the painfully obvious elephant-in-the-room one) that excludes the mess the Soviet Empire left in its wake.

Hey, mention of “alienating the country” reminds me – is your entry in for the “Guess Which Republican Congresscritter Is Retiring Next?” sweepstakes?

Act fast: your entry’s time stamp will be compared to the earliest known public leak of the retirement announcement, and must be no less than one hour* earlier to qualify!

*Normally, I’d make it something like a full day, but the way the pace of events in this regard has been building that’s just too coarse a unit.

Here’s the deal. If you remove the pejorative vulgarities from Trump’s statement, you get something like:

“Why do we have to take so many people from Haiti? Why can’t we take more people from Norway?”

It doesn’t sound any better.

Tweet from Vincente Fox:
“Donald Trump, your mouth is the foulest shithole in the world.”

While I would never say such a thing, I will defend to the death his right to say it.

Including working for Trump.

I can only hop France is included in the shithole category.

This pretty much seals it. It is now official. Trump is a bad person. Anyone – ANYONE – still defending Trump is a bad person. Anyone who voted for Trump is a bad person. And really, good people do not join the Republican Party.

If they haven’t joined the party can they vote Republican and still be good people?

You could definitely reformulate his stance into the respectable wonkish liberal position, especially with regards to taking in the rich and educated from poor countries. That’s still racist though, since the West stole tremendous amounts of wealth from them, and then when the poor suckers come crawling out looking for relief the West wags their finger and tells them to get a degree so they can fleece their country of the educated.

At least Trump says the quiet parts out loud, which makes political discussions a lot more straightforward when people don’t have to dance around their positions anymore.

This isn’t a new low. This is exactly in line with what he’s shown since before his campaign started. If anyone is surprised by this they’ve been willfully deluding themselves.

Republicans are, by definition, shitholes themselves. I have more respect for child molesters.

No surprise there.

Have you guys not noticed that the more strident and aggressive and inflexible and hateful you become the worse things go for you?

A few years back that was plausible. After supporting the likes of Trump, Moore and Arpaio, no.

BTW there are still good people that voted Republican before that decided to not to vote for Trump or Moore or Arpaio.

Thank you.

I must grant that the President knows something about shithole countries. After all, he’s doing his very best to turn his own into one.

True, insults are what cost of the election should have been emulating the tone of the winner i.e. Trump.

Why we can’t just get more citizens from nice pleasant states like Connecticut and Massachusetts instead of shithole states like Kansas and Alabama. And what about West Virginia they aren’t sending their best to the polls. They have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with them. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime They’re bringing incest. And some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to poll watchers and they tell us what we’re getting. And it only makes common sense. It only makes common sense. They’re sending us not the right people. But it’s coming from more than West Virginia. It’s coming from all over South and Southwest, and it’s coming probably — probably — from the Dakotas. Because we have no protection and we have no competence, we don’t know what’s happening. And it’s got to stop and it’s got to stop fast.

Isn’t that better?

Hey, I didn’t call them racist or deplorable.

Many of us think the U.S. has become a shithole since the 60s.

Sure, a couple things are better, like racism and women’s rights, but everything else has gone utterly to shit. Ergo, Trump/President. Let’s hope it turns out to be worth it.

Ah, the 60s. When getting deeper into stupid wars was normal, one of those wars was the war on drugs. We are indeed getting away from those shitholes but Trump’s henchmen like Sessions can not help but to try to return to the shit pool.
