At the direction of the president, Pentagon generals have begun planning a grand parade on the streets of the U.S. capital to showcase American military might.

What I’m going to enjoy is the sight of the completely destroyed street in the wake of all those tanks and such.
Maybe one of those tanks will accidentally run over the reviewing stand. 2 times.
I want to see massive protests in the streets during this shit show. Maybe some old ladies holding shopping bags standing in front of a tank. Effigies of Donald burned all over DC. Just when you can’t think this dumb fuck can’t outdo himself, he does.

I’m slightly of 2 minds on this question. Just slightly.
On the one hand…who doesn’t love a parade? And doesn’t everybody want to support our military? And tanks are cool! And flyovers are cool!!
On the other:
It’s a freaking waste of taxpayer money.
It’s not to honor the military, it’s to feed Trump’s ego.
Countries that hold military parades fall into 2 groups: dictatorships, and France. Not sure we want to be in either. 
We don’t do that kinda thing here in the US of A. We prefer to keep our weapons holstered until needed.

The essential ingredient here is statues and giant posters of Trump all along the parade route, in case there’s any lingering doubt about just what this is supposed to be celebrating. People protesting the parade would just give them more excuse to throw out the rule of law while claiming they are trying to protect america.
In terms of the goals of trump and his cronies, this might be his first smart move.
