They are only looking out for their own bottom line. And what trump and his criminal cadre can give them. Full Stop.
Regarding Trump’s comments on Russia rejoining the G7, every Fox talking head said it was odd, strange behavior and that Putin is a bad guy who wants to hurt the US. But not a one could come up with a reason why Trump would say such a thing. Not one reason. It’s just a mystery! Oh, well, let’s move on. I expect that the entire GOP are pretending the same thing about everything Trump is doing to help Putin and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
They’re trying to figure out which is going to hurt them worse; admitting the head of the Republican Party is incompetent or not admitting the head of the Republican Party is incompetent.
They’re really hoping Mueller files a report soon that gives them no choice and also gives them someone else to blame.
This is honestly the best case scenario, but I have no confidence even the stuff that is sure to be uncovered in such a report would go over the line.
Not from the Congressional GOP’s standpoint, no.
Trump staff has to tape together documents which he rips up, contrary to Federal records-retention law: MSN
Dammit, can’t they find a grown-up with the balls to tell him that those papers don’t belong to him?
The article notes that both people who spent their days re-constructing documents were fired last spring.
It seems likely that the administration is not preserving records, in violation of the law and to the detriment of this country (that they claim to love just SO much).
“They agreed to speak to Politico about what they believed to be unfair termination, saying that they were forced to sign resignation letters and were not told why they were being fired.”
How were they forced to sign- was Luca Brasi involved?
The further along this administration goes, the more I think he needs a grown-up with ovaries to tell him things. I can imagine such a woman saying, “Now, Donny, you know you’re not supposed to tear up the papers. If you tear them up, no spankings for you, young man. But if you leave all of the papers whole, I might even reward you by using the switch on your bare bottom. You’d like that, now, wouldn’t you?”
Stormy for Chief of Staff?
Am I the only one here who thinks this “habit” he picked up in the private sector incredibly shady, in and of itself ?
He would have to be doing that all his life or people might find out he’s worth about as much as my car.
From that:
The second-best self-description of the Trump Doctrine I heard was this, from a senior national-security official: “Permanent destabilization creates American advantage.”
Sounds like “Chaos is a ladder.”
Hmmm… :dubious:
I would amend that to: “Permanent destabilization creates [del]American[/del] *Trumpian *advantage.” Der Trumpnik doesn’t give a fuck about America. Or anything else except himself and money.
Should just be a matter of hours before he praises KJU in a way he never did Trudeau, Peña Nieto, May or Merkel.
Then, mere minutes after that, insults him.
He says that Kim loves his country. Of course he would say that since he doesn’t have the slightest idea of what loving your country means.
That is also the philosophy of the psychopath. No one else matters but you. The fact that it is false is why society itself exists–we are stronger together and weaker alone.
