Let them bring the violence. It would be refreshing for them to drop the pretense, once and for all (and to see them carted off to jail). But there won’t be any large scale violence… they don’t have the balls for it.
Like I said, bring it or shut up. Show us all what sort of nazi traitors “you guys” really are. Get it all out in the open.
Sure it does, but Trump has already violated it and gotten away with it. His hotels and the licensing deal with China. Congress refuses to act on it.
One gets the sense that if Republicans lose the midterms, Trump and the GOP will blame it on China (or Russia) and then claim that the FBI and DOJ need to investigate. I wonder what happens if they decline to do so.
But considering all the people of Asian descent living in this country, many of whom have familial ties to their home countries, this is an incendiary claim with the potential to do real harm to people just minding their own business.
I’d love to know the sizes of the venues for those rallies. But for some reason the ‘anti-Trump’ media never seem to want to embarrass him by reporting those facts–some of which have actually been pretty darned embarrassing.
I’m still waiting for him to come to Texas and rent Kyle Field, home of the Texas Aggies, which seats 102,000+… and have 1,000 people show up.
I more worried about another possibility. The Democrats win the elections. And then the Trump administration declares that China hacked the voting and they “adjust” the results so that the Republicans win.
Illegal? Sure. But who’s going to enforce the law? Trump? Congress? The Supreme Court? They’re all in on the crime.
Unthinkable? I would have said yes a couple of years ago. Now I’m not so sure.

Sure, but as you said, it’s illegal, and he has no authority to do it for state level elections. It’s like he wants to order Florida to rename Tallahassee Trumpville. What is Trump going to do when the AGs and governors tell him to pound sand? Arrest them? Refuse to let the elected officials into the building, run Congress with fewer members? And if said AGs and governors were willing to along with it, they’d just do it on their own, without the need for Trump intervening,
He can put police and federal marshals around the Capitol and White House and not allow those he doesn’t like, in.
