He should pick on someone *smaller *than him.

He’s jealous because she’s a better actor.
He’s jealous because she is simply better than him, not just in acting.
I don’t think they quite understand how the education system is run.
To me one thing about Kellie’s twit that’s particularly aberrant is this:
Uhm, let’s see: speaking as if driver’s laws in Sweden were the same as in whichever corner of the US Kellie is from, check. Assuming that a specially-activist member of a very-non-driving generation will have jumped on her chance at getting a driver’s license, check… Kellie knows less about Thunberg than I do about Kellie.
I mean, yes (also, not sure how one’s ability to drive is relevant to a debate in any way), but I figure it’s just a crack at Greta’s age. Which is just misdirection to not have to answer her actual points - not to mention, how the fuck and in what way is she holding you hostage, you degenerate bag of crazy ?
Yes it is (no matter what Greta says, these people would dismiss it because of her age, and if they couldn’t use her age they’d use her sex, and if not her nationality, and if not her hair color, and if not her lack of an education, and if not they’d call her an “elite” as if being good at what you do was somehow wrong…), but it’s the blindered-ness of it that gets me. These are people who on one hand fear anybody not like them and on the other cannot conceive of any individual or culture being not like them.
Saying “a high-school junior” would still be using an American frame of reference which would even make sense, not just to Americans, but to anybody who’s watched enough American media in English to know the expression. The reference to learner permits, though, is just completely head-up-her-exhaust-tube. It doesn’t even apply equally in all of the US!
Has Trump shot someone in 5th Avenue yet? At the rate he is going, we might get to test that boast.
The only true thing he’s said. <sigh>
If he tried, he’d probably end up shooting himself in the foot and his followers would discuss what great leadership it shows. And then he would say his bleeding foot shown on live TV was fake news and he has “The best aim, best!”.
Of course he’d insist on having the surgery done with a local rather than general anesthetic so he could give the surgeon instructions as he goes about fixing his foot, cuz dontcha know that he knows more about surgery than anybody.
I hope they can work on the bone spurs while they’re in there. The poor man has been suffering for 50 years.
Don’t forget that it was all Pelosi’s and Obama’s fault, somehow.
CNN:
Trump wants to shrink the NSA.
Is this Trump punishing the agency for the whistleblower? Why, whatever made you think that? This is being done because of new NSA adviser Robert O’Brien wanting a leaner, meaner NSA.
Oh, and I’m sure the fact that a second whistleblower might come forward has nothing to do with it either.
Er, National Security Council, not Agency.
Fewer witnesses
And what do you bet that the pruning will be along fealty-to-Donald lines?
That will send a message, not only within the NSC itself, but in every other part of government.
:smack:
Trump tweets that Romney is a “pompous ass.” And he would know, having looked in the mirror at one for so many years. Good strategy for keeping Senate Republicans on your side as the Impeachment Train comes barreling down the track, too, Mr. President!
